1. Who this covers
This policy applies to apisfelixdrafts.com and the Apis Felix Drafts service, operated by AFI. Our customers are licensed attorneys and law firms; we do not knowingly collect information from consumers or self-represented persons, and the service is not directed to anyone under 18.
2. What we collect
- Account information: your name, firm, email, bar number and licensing state, and password (stored only as a salted hash).
- Order information: the deliverables you order, deadlines, instructions, acknowledgments, and payment status.
- Client materials you upload: pleadings, records, transcripts, and other case documents you transmit so we can prepare your deliverable. These may contain your clients' confidential and personal information.
- Drafts Line calls: if you call (844) 655-2261, the call is recorded and transcribed to create your order summary, as disclosed at the start of the call.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, and basic analytics to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use it
We use this information to provide the drafting service you order, communicate with you about your orders, process payment, secure and improve the service, and meet our legal and record-retention obligations. We do not use your uploaded client materials for any purpose other than preparing your ordered deliverable.
4. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal information or your clients' information.
- We do not use your uploaded materials to train generally available or shared AI models.
- We do not share your materials with third parties except the service providers below, strictly to operate the service, or as required by law.
5. Service providers (subprocessors)
We use a small set of vetted providers to run the service, for example: payment processing (Stripe), cloud file storage (Google), transactional email (our email provider), telephony and transcription for the Drafts Line (Twilio), and hosting and content delivery (Replit, Cloudflare). These providers process data only to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
6. Confidentiality and security
We treat uploaded client materials as confidential. Data is encrypted in transit; access is limited to personnel and systems involved in preparing your deliverable; and each order is isolated so nothing from one customer's matter informs another's. No system is perfectly secure, and you remain responsible for your own professional obligations regarding client confidences, including any client consent your rules of professional conduct require before transmitting confidential information to an outside drafting service.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain account and order records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We delete or return your uploaded materials on written request after an order closes, subject to our record-retention obligations. Contact orders@apisfelixdrafts.com to request deletion.
8. Your choices
You can access or update your account information, request deletion of uploaded materials, and opt out of non-essential communications. Because our customers are attorneys acting for their own clients, you — not AFI — control and are responsible for the client information you choose to upload.
9. Cookies
The portal uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. The marketing site uses minimal analytics. We do not use advertising trackers.
10. Changes; contact
We may update this policy prospectively; the "last updated" date reflects the current version. Questions or requests: orders@apisfelixdrafts.com. Apis Felix Innovations LLC is a Nevada limited liability company; this policy is governed by Nevada law.
